Today's featured Christmas music is about sharing Christmas with those who need it most. Our weekly news & announcements can always be found on this site on the Calendar & Events tab, at the Announcements subheading. This week's edition can be found here. Today's offering by Aaron Shust is based on the traditional carol, "Good Christian Men, Rejoice". In today's sermon Pastor Kelly encouraged us to seek out all types of Christmas music. In the coming days we'll be posting traditional Christmas carols both as part of the services and on their own -- but we also wanted to highlight some more contemporary offerings. Some of these will be new spins on on the carols we know by heart; others will be a fresh look at the Reason for the Season. Today's selection is called "My Christmas". Good morning! Today is the Third Sunday of Advent - the Sunday of Joy. Pastor Kelly’s message is titled, “Unspeakable Joy,” taken from Luke 1:26-38, 46-55. The music includes “Love Came Down at Christmas,” sung by Mark Warner; “Once in Royal David’s City,” sung by Kelly Schmidt; “All Is Well,” sung by Dorothy Collins; “Angels Sing,” sung by Kelly Schmidt & Mark Warner; and “Away in a Manger,” sung by Anna Wilson. We won't be able to worship together in person until at least mid-January, but in the meantime here's what things look like at the church.
Hello friends, our virtual Christmas Eve service will be posted here and on our Facebook page on Dec. 24. And if you call/email the office and tell us when to deliver, we'll deliver a gift bag including an ornament that you can open after watching the service! Also, you may now make a Christmas financial gift to the church either by mailing a check or visiting this page and selecting "Christmas Gift".
