This morning we celebrated Heritage Sunday, with Pastor Kelly's message, "Stand Firm in the Faith", recalling the founder of Methodism, John Wesley. The Scriptures were Hebrews 4:12-13; Mark 8:34-38; and Hebrews 10:22a,23-25. Hymns were "O, For a Thousand Tongues" and "Christ, Whose Glory Fills the Skies", both written by Charles Wesley.

This morning we celebrated Mother's Day as well as Holy Communion. Pastor Kelly's message, "Come Close, I'll Tell You What God Has Done for Me," was based on Psalm 66:8-20 and Acts 17:22-31. This morning on the fourth Sunday of Easter, Pastor Kelly's message was titled, "God Isn't Far Away," using Psalms 23 & 139:1-18,23-24. The message also made use of the book, "Because I Love You," by Max Lucado.

On the third Sunday of Eastertide, Pastor Kelly's message was titled, "What Are You Talking About?", using Luke 24:13-35. We also heard Psalm 116:1-4,12-19, and Jan Mallette shared a Native American version of the 23rd Psalm as we observed Native American Ministries Sunday.

On the second Sunday of Eastertide, Pastor Kelly's message was titled, "Can You Believe It?", using Acts 2:14a,22-32 and John 20:19-31. We celebrated the ministry of our interim musicians Kathy Fisher & Terri Knowlton as they conclude their time with us, and they presented a piano-organ duet of "Jesus Shall Reign".
