Our church's musicians, under the leadership of Music Director Cathy King, have been recording a lot of Christmas music this season. From top to bottom: "Angels We Have Heard on High"; "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear"; "O Come, O Come Emmanuel"; and "O Little Town of Bethlehem". There will be more carols and special music in the Christmas Eve service, posted Thursday morning, and the December 27 service! Good morning friends! Please take a few minutes to watch Pastor Kelly’s brief message about our church’s ministries in this season. Wise men still looking for Him Children still come and adore Him We will bow down before Him The Savior is born in Bethlehem Tonight's Christmas song is a gentle modern adaptation of "Silent Night"... You can read this week's Ministry Matters congregational news by clicking here. It will be posted each week on the Announcements subheading of the Calendar and Events tab. Good morning! It’s the Fourth Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Love. This morning’s Scriptures are Isaiah 61:1,2 and Luke 2:1-7; the message title is “Love for All This Christmas”. Music includes “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”, sung by Kelly Schmidt; “Noel”, sung by Mark Warner; “O Little Town of Bethlehem”, sung by Dorothy Collins; “There’s a Song in the Air”, sung by Mark Warner; and “Carol of Wonder”, sung by Kelly & Albert Schmidt. Here's a really fun Christmas song with a lively bluegrass vibe.... Tonight's Christmas music selection is called "Reve du Noel". It's a medley that incorporates some music you might not think of as Christmas music, but still brings the spirit of the season. |
