Welcome as we worship online and in person. Share a warm welcome with others. Coffee hour is held in the Connections Café following the service. Coloring sheets, offering envelopes, and mission baskets are located near both entrances to the church.
Dinner & a Movie
Due to the bad weather, our pizza and a movie had to be postponed from Thursday, January 19 to Tuesday, January 24. Fourteen of us met and enjoyed a dinner of pizza with yummy cookies made by Donna Lockwood for dessert. The movie portion was just not meant to be, as the DVD broke taking it out of the case. Instead, we had an entertaining time talking and laughing as a group…a much more enjoyable time!
We will try again for a movie on February 16 but will be ordering from Augie’s. Sign-ups may be done in the café or by contacting Stan Lockwood. The movie is yet to be decided. If you have an idea of something you would like to see, please send your suggestions to Sue Cramer in the office.
The Food Pantry Has Moved!
The Food Pantry has been relocated to their new location in the church! Recently over 30 people gathered to help in the move. It is not only moved but organized and open for business, already serving the community. Thank you to all who donated their time, talents, and gifts for this worthwhile endeavor.
First Friday Chocolate Fest
We will not be participating in the February First Friday, to be held on February 3. This would have been a great opportunity to invite our neighbors into the church for fellowship but there was very little interest on our part with only one person stepping forward to help.
Bishop Hector Welcomes You
As of January 1, Bishop Hector Burgos, who prefers to be addressed as Bishop Hector, is the new bishop of the Upper New York Conference. Click here to read his welcome message.

Hannaford Helps
Each month the Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program gives back to our communities by selecting a nonprofit local to each store to benefit from the purchase of every Fight Hunger Bag. Our Food Pantry has been selected to receive $1 from every $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag sold during this month. So far this month we have received a total of $39. With food prices rising, every dollar is important, so let’s help the Food Pantry.
Fair Trade Coffee or Chocolate
Fair Trade products are available. Chocolate bars (Extra Dark Panama, Sea Salt with Caramel Crunch and Sea Salt with Almonds), and coffees (Regular breakfast blend, Hazelnut, and Decaf) can be purchased by contacting Stan Lockwood at 518-885-1552 or at [email protected]. Enjoy some soon!
