This morning we celebrated Heritage Sunday, which recognizes John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. Today there are many strains of Methodism, of which perhaps the most prominent (especially in the US) is the United Methodist Church. Below are just a few of Wesley's more notable sayings, many of which still influence Methodist thought today.

Here's a message from BSUMC and Linda Sheeran for the coming weekend...  There are signs of spring, and reminders of the beauty of God's creation, at 101 Milton Ave. We're celebrating the coming of spring even as we observe the liturgical season of Lent. Thank you to Linda Sheeran for managing our sign.  This past Sunday we dedicated and celebrated our new food pantry facility with coffee hour and the chance to tour the space… Here's our latest sign message -- reminding the community that we're focused on following the One who makes that change possible.
