This morning's message is based on Matthew 13; the reading was posted earlier this morning. Taken from Matthew 13, with an introduction from Pastor Kelly. Pastor Kelly reads a book for the kids this week... but as always the adults are encouraged to listen in... Here’s a great praise song for us all today. It’s about holding on to God in the middle of a storm. Do you want to praise God today, even though you may be feeling grief over the loss of a loved one? Pastor Kelly shares this song by Chris Tomlin, praying that you are just as deeply blessed by it as she has been. Let’s pause today to devote time to pray for our nation, for its leaders and people, its present challenges and future opportunities. Most of all let us pray for faith, hope, generosity and resilience as we continue to live through these COVID-19 days.

Thank you Linda Sheeran for sharing with us some photos she took outside the church on this bright sunny day!
Rainbows can brighten someone’s day, wouldn’t you agree? We love to see one in the sky after a rain shower, but in recent months rainbows are showing up in lots of places! This trend began in Italy as a way to cheer up a nation at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kristyn Dayter and a few others from the Capital region launched a 518 Rainbow Hunt Facebook group in mid-March. Now there are well over 100,000 people registered. While our church isn’t registered, we hope you will enjoy the rainbow artwork displayed at the Church House. We thank the youth who created it for us - Levi, Wesley and Caroline Jenkins.
